CALIPATRIA — November 2, 2026. For the November 3, 2026 election, Imperial County lists an official ballot drop box at Calipatria City Hall, 125 Park Street, with 24-hour availability during the early voting period.
How to return a ballot
Use the official return envelope supplied with the vote-by-mail ballot and sign it. Imperial County says drop boxes opened October 5 and can accept ballots through the close of polls on Election Day.
If a signature is missing
The county registrar says voters will be notified about a missing or non-matching signature and may have an opportunity to submit a curing statement within the legally specified timeframe. Do not ignore a genuine letter from elections officials.
Track the ballot
Imperial County points voters to the state’s Where’s My Ballot service and its own registrar for status inquiries. Election workers can explain available options if a ballot is lost or never arrived.
